We are seeking a full-time Andrologist to join our Jupiter, FL team. The schedule is working Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm and every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation, with the ability to float to the Margate location and any additional future labs that may open north of Jupiter as needed.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Andrologist is responsible for:
- Shipping, receiving and disposition of frozen samples
- Ordering and receiving lab supplies
- Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis
- Perform counts for concentration and motility, perform histological techniques for identifying leucocytes, immature germ cells and morphology
- Process semen for ART procedures and intrauterine inseminations (IUIs)
- Perform semen cryopreservation Assure proper sample collection, delivery and identification (chain of custody)
- Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment used in the Andrology laboratory
- Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelors' degree in Biology required
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
- Experience with a chemistry analyzer strongly preferred
- Tissue culture and/or semen processing experience a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be locally based
