Dekalb OB/GYN Affiliates is seeking a seasoned licensed
Women's Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our practice.
Job Purpose: To provide comprehensive medical care for our obstetrics and gynecology patients with the collaborating attending physician of record. The Women's Health PA/NP role is to provide general Obstetrics and Gynecology care in the office setting only
- Must have at least 7 years experience in the OBGYN field and possess a valid and unrestricted Georgia license to practice as a PA/NP/CNM with no outstanding medical malpractice cases
- Perform office annual pap/pelvic and breast exams
- Office EHR is Athena EHR system with Freed ai
- Perform and document a complete history and physical exam for hospital admission and care of postoperative and postpartum patients and ED referrals
- Follow through on interpretation of results and communicate with both attending physician and patient and interested in continuity of care
- Possess pleasant personality and work habits that complement team and enjoy everyday OBGYN patient care
- Must be experienced in pre-natal and post- natal care, family planning services, gynecology complaints, menopause management issues, able to perform office placement of Intrauterine devices (IUD)/ removal of IUD ,incision and drainage of vulvar cyst, fetal monitor strip interpretation, vulvar and endometrial biopsies.
- Basic use of office ultrasound necessary for early IUP or presentation
- Experience with hospital in patient or surgical care a plus
- Ability to speak foreign language such as Spanish a plus
- Must have strong skills for patient assessment, patient management, documentation skills
- Must be available to work 3 days a week
- Must be a Ga resident and able to start working within next four weeks
Job Type: Part-time
Projected Total Compensation: $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
