Role Description
As a valued member of our small, collaborative team, you’ll work closely with our board-certified urogynecologist to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of urogynecologic conditions. Because we’re a private practice, you’ll spend the majority of your time on direct patient care — not administrative meetings, committee work, or unrelated system-wide tasks. Our streamlined workflow allows you to focus on what matters most: your patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient histories, physical exams, and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage urogynecologic conditions such as pelvic floor disorders and incontinence
- Assist with office-based procedures (e.g., pessary fittings, cystoscopy, urodynamics, bladder instillations)
- Provide pre- and post-operative care and patient education
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
- Collaborate with the supervising physician to create personalized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the EMR system
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (accredited program)
- License: Active PA license in MI (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience: Women’s health, urology, or urogynecology experience preferred — motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Skills: Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care
