Due to our phenomenal growth and expansion, Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York (RMA of NYC), one of the country's top fertility centers, is looking for Director of Operations.
The Operations Director provides leadership, strategic direction and management to the Practice in accordance with the Joint Practice Management Board’s yearly budget, strategic marketing and operations plan(s) for the Practice. This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Practice including but not limited to staffing, supervision, scheduling, and patient satisfaction. Also, this position is responsible for enhancing and improving tangibly the operational efficiency and operational controls of the Practice including but not limited to process improvement, workflow, clinical processes, systems implementation, MD workflow, organizational dynamics, and managerial mentoring and professional development. This position works collaboratively with the Regional Executive Director and Vice President to facilitate revenue growth.

Full-Time Monday-Friday (can Float To Other RMANY Offices)
Salary: 115K-150K
Essential Job Responsibilities:

OPERATIONS:
- Assists in the development of an annual budget and is responsible for achieving budgeted levels for revenue and profitability.
- Responsible for the oversight of marketing programs to grow the practice and for ensuring that practice has appropriate and up-to-date information on market environment to enable effective responses to threats or opportunities.
- Responsible for ensuring the practice has an efficient and effective infrastructure, including information systems, billing and collection support and so forth, to support current operations and planned growth.
- Responsible for ensuring that account receivables goals are met and maintained.
- Assist with the oversight of the development of annual market plan and budget.
- Assist as opportunity and circumstance permit in identifying new opportunities for profitable expansion in the region.
- Oversee and participates as required in the recruitment, selection, retention, training and supervision of practice personnel to ensure delivery of the highest quality services; to maximize profits, and to minimize turnover.
- Oversee that there is compliance with all aspects of Organization and Practice Services’ Administrative Policies and Standard Procedures.
- Assist, support and manage as required, efforts to ensure that the Practice operates in full and complete compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
- Assists ED, RVP, CEO in controlling budgeted overhead and addressing any inefficiencies of the practice.
- Maintains practice operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing practice operational policies, procedures, and HIPAA & safety standards.
- Oversees the maintenance and growth of the practice with regard to facilities management, identification of new office space, planning & development of new sites/buildings and assisting with interior design.
- Assists in evaluating and performing process improvement efforts yielding better workflow, higher IVF throughput, and more mistake-free processes.
- Oversees and maintains the coordination, communication, and overall operations among satellite offices in territory.
- Oversees and participates in risk management and administration.
- Monitors scheduling and assignment of employee job responsibilities and follows up on work results.
- Oversees and participates in the external audit processes such as laboratory, OR/PACU credentialing and licensure processes (e.g. JACHO, AAAHC, CLIA, OSHA, etc.). Ensures compliance with all offices within designated territory with all state and federal requirements.
- Conducts annual performance evaluations in accordance with Company policies.
- Participates in the Quality Improvement Committee as appropriate.
- Addresses patient complaints.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Participation as required in negotiations between the Practice and all vendors and service contractors to ensure the highest level of return for the practice consistent with services rendered.
- Directs all ordering and distribution of all office and patient services supplies.
- Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the RED and REVP.

- Maintains patient and employee confidence and protects operations by keeping all patient and employee information confidential.
SCOPE OF FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - Maintain division budget; assist with department-specific budgets as needed.
- Act in compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures, and the legal rules and regulations applicable to the position, including the rules and regulations under Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, as the same may be amended from time to time.
- Act in compliance with legal rules and regulations applicable to the position.
- Adhere to both the spirit and the language of the Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 (“SOX”) in order to avoid any conduct that would be in violation of SOX or give the appearance of violating SOX.
- Understand SOX rules and your responsibilities under the Company’s compliance policies and procedures, and the penalties for not complying with the policies and procedures and the law.
- Report suspected violations of SOX, company policies and procedures, and/or Federal and State laws, rules and regulations to the Compliance Officer, another appropriate high-level officer of Practice, or Practice’s third-party compliance violation reporting service.
SUPERVISORY - MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
- Positions supervises: Office Supervisors, Office Managers, Office Assistant Supervisors located within his/her designated region. Also, this position is responsible for direct oversight of ASC management and staff.
- Can direct the work of others in regard to recommended promotions/demotions/pay increases/bonuses, performance management and evaluations, plan job results, assign work, train, and hire/discipline/terminate.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master’s (MBA/MHA) degree in business or health administration preferred, bachelor's required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in healthcare industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience in Fertility Sector preferred. Experience in Supervisory/Management required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to build and maintain highly effective teams.

- Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, database, and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
