We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to help ignite our mission. Reporting to the Chief Development and Communications Officer and collaborating closely with the Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in executing strategic communication plans and keeping our website fresh, relevant, and impactful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Implement the communication plan to engage the public, highlight the Partnership’s work, and demonstrate our impact.
- Communicate with diverse audiences across the organization, including community members, healthcare professionals, staff, and donors.
- Create engaging blog posts and articles that reflect our work and impact.
- Execute website updates.
- Execute marketing emails and manage the Constant Contact database.
- Tell community, staff, and donor stories through various forms of media.
- Create basic program flyers and promotional materials following the brand guidelines.
- Attend community and organization events and take photos/video.
- Assist with special communications projects.
- Must occasionally work nights and weekends as needed.
- Handle additional communications duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field required.
- Two years of experience in communications is preferred. (Internship experience is acceptable.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, website content management systems, e-mail marketing systems, constituent database software, and social media platforms.
- Experience with WordPress and Constant Contact is a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing, project management, and planning skills.
- Strong ability to write narrative articles without relying on AI.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse professional environment and manage competing priorities.
- Familiarity with public health-related messaging and cultural competency strongly preferred.
- Highly collaborative styles, skilled at relationship and consensus building.
- Strong initiative and follow-through with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
