About the role
Lead and deliver high-quality neonatal care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Contribute to clinical governance, research, and education while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and reporting to the Division Head.
Key duties of the role
- Deliver evidence-based neonatal care for inpatients and outpatients
- Supervise, mentor, and teach medical and nursing staff
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and risk management
- Develop and implement practice guidelines and clinical protocols
- Coordinate follow-up care and contribute to expansion of neonatal services
Skills and Experience
- MBBS or equivalent with Specialist registration in Neonatology
- Extensive experience across all levels of neonatal care
- Proven track record in teaching and mentoring medical staff
- Demonstrated involvement in clinical research and publications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting
