Hawkesbury District Hospital Maternity Unit is a vibrant Level Four service supporting over 600 births each year, offering an exceptional opportunity for registered midwives seeking permanent full-time or part-time roles.

This dynamic rotational position spans all areas of maternity care, including our midwifery-led Antenatal Clinic, Antenatal/Postnatal Ward, Birthing Unit, and Midwifery at Home. As a registered midwife, you’ll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team delivering safe, person-centered care in partnership with women, families, and carers.

What you will bring to the role

Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Midwifery.
Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing/midwifery care that is person centered, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
