The primary purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the Maryborough District Health Service Collaborative Operational Model of Care.
Using evidence-based best practice as a basis, the role of the Clinical Midwife Educator is to provide education, training and clinical supervision for non-midwifery staff, nursing and midwifery students/graduates (if applicable) and to act as a role model for midwifery and non-midwifery colleagues by exemplifying best practice in midwifery.
