Otolaryngologist - Abbotsford Regional Hospital And Cancer Care Centre
Fraser Health is seeking an Otolaryngologist - Head & Neck surgeon who will work with the other four local ENTs, to provide specialized medical and surgical care for patients presenting with a wide range of disorders of the head and neck. An advanced degree and fellowship training, along with demonstrated interest in otology or pediatrics would be an asset. In addition, the ENT Program provides regional on-call coverage, which is planned to include areas east of Surrey.
Our team of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgeons, is looking for a new member to join our team. The successful candidate will initially share 4 OR days per month with the two current team members in Abbotsford. Options for extra time at publicly funded private surgical centres are also available. Shared private outpatient office space is available. The successful candidate will take 1:5 call covering ARHCC, Chilliwack Hospital, and some smaller surrounding hospitals. The on-call surgeon can have patients transferred to ARHCC, if appropriate. As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Otolaryngology Surgery, UBC.
Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC) services the Eastern Fraser Valley in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. ARHCC is a dedicated BC Cancer Agency site with specialized head and neck oncology services. We offer services in orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, oral-maxillofacial surgery, plastics, and a wide variety of general surgeries. There is an intensive care unit, interventional radiology, and cardiac care services available on site.
Provisional license is acceptable and supervision available for US board-certified physicians.
