About the Role
Medworks is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support our regional surgical partners across North Carolina, Virginia, and parts of South Carolina. In this vital, fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate the delivery and setup of surgical equipment, train hospital staff on its proper use, and support operating room teams with critical equipment knowledge.
Whether you're loading equipment for transport, training clinical staff, or resolving a last-minute issue before a procedure, you’ll be helping to ensure surgeries run smoothly and patients get the best possible care.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, deliver, and retrieve surgical equipment across the region
- Set up, test, and verify equipment functionality at client locations
- Provide hands-on technical support and equipment training to surgical staff
- Track inventory movement and maintain accurate delivery and service logs
- Troubleshoot on-site equipment issues and escalate when necessary
- Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs
- Collaborate with Medworks’ internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Build strong, professional relationships with hospital teams and OR staff
What We’re Looking For
- You live within ~30 miles of Charlotte, NC
- You have strong organizational and time management skills
- You’re dependable, solutions-oriented, and confident under pressure
- You’re technically curious and eager to learn medical equipment operations
- You can lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work on your feet
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Healthcare or OR environments
- Technical support, field service, or logistics
- Customer-facing roles or training facilitation
No prior medical experience is required. We provide full, hands-on training in Richmond, VA, and continued field support.
Schedule & Travel
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional on-call
- Frequent regional travel
- 1–2 week initial onboarding/training in Richmond, VA (all expenses covered)
