A renewed interest in the field of rheumatology has resulted in a host of exciting opportunities to practice and develop research nursing skills in an experienced team, including clinical trials at all phases of development, and valuable observational studies with a direct impact on standard of care. Subject to patient recruitment, the team are currently collaborating with Haematology on exciting Phase I CAR-T and T-cell engager therapy trials.
The Band 5 nurse will be part of the rheumatology research team, alongside King's College London colleagues working in the Centre for Rheumatic Disease Clinical Trials Group - a EULAR Centre of Excellence for Rheumatology Research.
The post-holder will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery - supporting set-up; patient identification and recruitment; data collection including sampling and processing , as well as data management. We would welcome applications from research experienced nurses looking to work on a diverse portfolio, but would also consider applications for clinical nurses in a relevant area looking to move into research.
The post-holder will be on-site, providing nursing cover for a 5-day a week busy specialist rheumatology clinical service covering a range of conditions
