Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a high degree of professionalism are essential. Assets for this role include cross-department partnerships, knowledge of Public Health programs, experience in supporting project management, and familiarity with health information privacy standards. Additional Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in office administration. A minimum of three years related administrative support experience in an advanced administrative support role is required. Short-listed candidates will be invited for a two-part computer-based skills assessment. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and professional image, provide exceptional customer service, and be flexible with the ability to adapt to change. Must demonstrate ability to work independently and effectively as part of a larger team in an environment with competing priorities. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), ePeople, e-Facilities is required. Excellent organizational skills, knowledge of procurement, and the ability to coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and produce supporting documentation are essential. Project support experience – tracking activities to meet deadlines, delivering on action items, providing appropriate follow up - is required. Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are key. Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information is required. Candidates must demonstrate progressive administrative experience with sound analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates must also be culturally competent and comfortable with a high volume of activity. This work involves prolonged, repetitive finger, hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder use while on the computer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle, Data Group, Grand & Toy and Iron Mountain. Experience in Public Health or community programs is an asset. Familiarity with Connect Care and privacy legislation is an asset. Comfort with virtual meeting platforms.
