Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and committed Medical Assistants to join our team and grow with us. This is a dual-role position where you will provide both clinical support and medical scribing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning, a positive attitude, and a strong devotion to patient care and privacy. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient encounters, including patient history, exam findings, and treatment plans in the EMR in real time.
- Provide and document direct patient care, including patient triage.
- Reinforce patient education as directed by the physician.
- Administer injections and assist with in-office procedures.
- Perform telephone triage, including patient follow-up and managing medication requests.
- Maintain and prepare exam rooms by stocking and ordering supplies.
- Ensure all patient records and documentation are handled with strict privacy ethics.
- Assist the physician in exam rooms during procedures and examinations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required. A Medical Assisting degree is preferred, but we will also consider strong CNA candidates.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office is preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR software and a strong understanding of computer systems is a requirement.
- Must possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Devotion to patient care, quality of work, and privacy ethics is essential.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities at any given time.
- Willingness to travel between two local office locations is required.
- Bilingual candidates are considered a plus.
