We are seeking a compassionate RN with a desire to work in women's health. We invite you to apply for this PRN position, where we anticipate this role working 12 hours per week.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitates effective and efficient transition from Preop to OR and PACU to release
- Utilizes appropriate body mechanics in moving patients, stretchers, and OR tables to prevent injury to patient and self.
- Ability to monitor patient as anesthesia wears off and evaluate patient
- Demonstrates knowledge of patient management, including: being available from anesthesia during intubation and extubating, assisting as needed in sudden changes in patient condition, and being readily available to assist as directed.
- Prepares and administers medications as needed
- IV skills preferred
- Circulate in OR and assist in PACU
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
- Observes, records and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Dispenses medication as directed.
- Ability to schedule basic monitoring appointments, treatments and procedures. Assessment and triage of patients in emergency situations. Arranges for patient testing and admission.
- Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and pertinent information. Assessment of laboratory and test results for normal and abnormal ranges. Reviews all labs and tests with physicians and informs patients of results. Documents accurate and pertinent information including phone conversations with patients, questions asked and answered, prescriptions called to the pharmacy and reportable labs and tests.
- Assists physician in coordination of IVF and FET cycles.

Education and Experience:
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in TX, ASN or BSN
- Current BLS
- ACLS and IV Skills preferred
- Fertility experience preferred
