Tu Clinica Familiar is looking for an ultrasound technician , in an effort of bringing better care to our patient for medical diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations to generate images of organs, blood vessels, and other tissues.
- Prepare patients for examinations, including explaining the procedure and obtaining consent.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document findings and prepare reports for medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in ultrasound technology and clinical practice.
Specific Tasks:
- Performing abdominal, obstetric ultrasounds
- Detecting abnormalities in organs such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, and heart
- Examining blood vessels for blockages or aneurysms
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- More than 3 years of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
