- Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to patients attending the Jiahui Health facility, supporting all clientele as required.
- Develop an orientated practice with continuity of care and appropriate follow-up and referral.
- Manage the delivery of competent and professional health services according to the Jiahui Health standards.
- Assist with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within Jiahui
- Perform rounds in the outpatient consultation room, emergency room and short-term inpatient beds including morning and evening handovers to other medical personnel when required
- Perform appropriate work up, follow up and any Urology related procedures up to the international standard of care
- Document daily progress note on all inpatient. Document progress notes for each patient seen in Jiahui Health facility.
- Assesses patient’s progress through extended hospital course, utilizes available resources, and intervene as necessary to ensure that optimal patient outcome are achieved
- Resource for nursing staff regarding patient care issues as needed
- Equally share call/coverage duties
- Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients
- Meet Standards of professional conduct and courtesy
- Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested
- Participate in Fellow training when requested
- Attend MAO-physicians meeting, departmental meetings, Grand Round, Committee meetings and CEO meeting when asked for
Quality Assurance and Administration
- Work with Chief Medical Officer to optimize quality assurance and ensure that appropriate medical outcomes are consistently attained with respect to the provision of Jiahui services
- Ensure that patient medical files and documentation are maintained to highest standards and in accordance with Jiahui Health standards for Jiahui services
- Assist in the maintenance, selection and control of the medical equipment, instruments and supplies available when required Promotion of Jiahui Health Services
- Work with members of the senior management team on initiatives to enhance Jiahui profile and activity in the local and expat community
- Participate actively in appropriate social and professional activities to promote Jiahui Health services in surrounding communities
- Present important health topics to interested community groups
- Assist the China Sales and Marketing team in explaining Jiahui Health medical services to prospective and existing clients Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake and pass the Chinese medical license examination in accordance with local Health Bureau regulations
- Educate medical and non-medical staff in medical matters where relevant
