Genesis Fertility, a busy infertility practice located in Brooklyn, NY has an opening for a medical laboratory technologist /technician .
Only Individuals who hold a current NY State certificate/license as a Medical Technologist / technician will be considered.
Responsibilities include performing semen analyses, preparation of semen for IUI and IVF, sperm cryopreservation and thawing, maintaining QC, documentation, general record keeping and database management.
The position also carries responsibilities in clinical chemistry (endocrinology) procedures including the processing and analysis of blood using an automated analyzer .
Although Experience with working with the Siemens Immulite and the Roche Cobas E 411 will be preferred, we will provide full training to suitable candidates.
We can only consider candidates with established US residency and work permits. The position requires some shared weekend and holiday coverage.
