As a Consultant, you will have access to excellent facilities within a well-structured, yet relaxed environment. Our client provides high-quality day case and inpatient treatments across a wide range of specialties, ensuring exceptional clinical care for all patients.
Reporting to the Medical Director, you will be part of a multi-professional team and carry out various non-Obstetric Gynaecological procedures.
You will treat both NHS and private patients referred to the hospital, adhering to protocols and working practices. This includes providing in-patient and out-patient care for patients with common gynaecological concerns such as menstrual disorders and urogynaecological issues.

The role of a Consultant GynaecologistEverything our client does is focused on providing a high standard of safe and effective patient care. Their facilities are modern, employing the latest technology with friendly and professional staff. They have strong control processes to ensure they maintain high standards of hygiene and above all, are passionate about giving their patients the best possible care and helping them feel better, faster. Procedures include:
- minor/intermediate procedures of the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes such as hysteroscopy, endometrial sampling, endometrial ablations, laparoscopy, tubal sterilizations, insertion/removal of MIRENAs etc
- Major procedures to include Hysterectomy, Colporrhaphy, abdominal hysterectomy, fascial sling etc
- Skills in the management of endometriosis would be an advantage.
- Skills to be able to do total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic assisted hysterectomy, laparoscopic excision of endometriosis and hysteroscopic resection of fibroids would be an advantage.
Skills required for this job- UK registerable Medical Degree
- Strong background in laparoscopic surgery is essential
- MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification
- Relevant CCT or equivalent
- Past record of academic achievement
- Full and Specialist GMC Registration in relevant speciality
