Primary Title: Consultant – IVF & Infertility Specialist (IVF Specialist / Gynecologist)
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IVF clinical services: patient assessment, ovulation induction, monitoring, oocyte retrieval support, ICSI coordination, embryo transfer and follow-up.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including transvaginal sonography, hysteroscopy, basic laparoscopy and related outpatient gynecological care.
- Collaborate tightly with embryology lab teams to ensure protocol compliance for fertilisation, embryo grading, cryopreservation and thaw cycles.
- Deliver compassionate fertility counselling, explain treatment options, risks and success expectations; obtain informed consent and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Maintain clinical quality and safety by following SOPs, regulatory guidelines, infection control and reporting adverse events promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement—audit outcomes, optimise stimulation protocols, mentor junior clinicians and support patient-experience initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MD/MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology (or equivalent) and formal training/experience in ART/IVF.
- Minimum 2–5 years hands-on experience managing IVF cycles including ICSI, embryo transfer and cryopreservation in a clinical fertility centre.
- Proven proficiency in transvaginal ultrasound monitoring, hysteroscopy and basic laparoscopy for infertility work-up.
- Strong patient counselling skills with demonstrable ability to manage complex fertility cases and set realistic expectations.
- Familiarity with IVF lab workflows, quality control measures and ability to work cross-functionally with embryologists and lab managers.
Preferred
- Fellowship/Certificate in Reproductive Medicine / Reproductive Endocrinology or additional accredited ART training.
- Experience with EMR systems, clinical audits, and outcome reporting; exposure to high-volume IVF centres in India.
