Your Role
As a Midwife at NDSUH, you will:
- Assess the health status of patients and expectant mothers
- Analyze medical and care situations to deliver prescribed or independent nursing care
- Welcome and evaluate patient needs on technical, relational, and educational levels
- Plan, implement, and evaluate care for mothers, newborns, and patients, including emergencies
- Participate in diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, and prescribed care
- Monitor clinical signs and potential risks to ensure appropriate case management
- Maintain clear and meaningful communication and documentation
- Supervise nursing assistants and delegate basic care tasks
- Educate patients and expectant mothers about their health and care plans
- Support labor and delivery processes, including monitoring and assisting anesthesiologists
- Assist with breastfeeding and postpartum care
- Ensure proper administration of medications and manage equipment and supplies
- Contribute to team management, training, and service quality improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maternity ward
- Strong knowledge of nursing care and common pathologies
- High technical skills and ability to work independently
- Awareness of occupational risks and preventive measures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English
