Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our healthcare team at Health Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to women throughout their lives, from adolescence through menopause. This role involves managing all aspects of women's reproductive health, including routine gynecological care, prenatal care, and a variety of surgical procedures. The OBGYN will work in a supportive environment that values teamwork and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for women's reproductive health.
- Conduct thorough gynecological examinations, including pap smears and screenings for STIs.
- Offer complete prenatal care, manage up to labor, and provide postpartum follow-up.
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the female reproductive system.
- Perform gynecological and obstetric procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EHR/EMR systems (AthenaHealth), ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Counsel and educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases and make referrals to specialists when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems for efficient patient documentation.
- Experience in a wide range of gynecological procedures.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and clinical research methodologies.
- Ability to manage high-risk pregnancies.
- Collaborate with CRNPs.
- Excellent communication and patient service skills for effective patient and family education.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including prior telehealth experience or a willingness to engage in continuing education opportunities.
