As the Regional Business Director (RBD), you’ll serve as the General Manager of our Boston market, owning both strategic operations and financial performance as we expand from two to five locations. Job Summary
The Regional Business Director is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational, financial, and experiential success of all Lumin Health clinics across the Boston region.
Reporting to the CEO, the RBD is a dynamic and analytical operator, passionate about delivering best-in-class healthcare experiences and building scalable systems for growth.
You’ll lead all non-clinical functions in the region—from daily site operations and patient experience to new clinic launches and full P&L ownership. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational rigor, financial fluency, and inspirational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Service Excellence
- Set and maintain the “Lumin Standard” across all clinic environments, ensuring a serene, high-end atmosphere.
- Lead all non-clinical aspects of the patient experience, including front-of-house protocols and hospitality touchpoints.
- Own patient feedback systems (e.g., Net Promoter Score), drive service recovery, and continuously improve quality of service.
- Manage multi-site operations: aesthetics, supply chain, vendors, and non-clinical and clinical technology infrastructure.
Financial & Business Performance
- Own the Boston region’s P&L, with responsibility for revenue growth, expense control, and profitability.
- Develop and manage regional operating and capital budgets in partnership with the executive team.
- Create and track regional KPIs across operations, finance, and patient experience; use data to drive performance.
- Lead workflow and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Growth & Site Development
- Serve as project lead for all new clinic openings in the region, from lease execution to go-live.
- Maintain and implement a repeatable “Site Launch Playbook” to support expansion.
- Coordinate procurement, IT installation, facilities setup, and staffing for new locations.
- Ensure all new sites launch on time, on budget, and at full operational readiness.
Leadership & People Management
- Hire, develop, and manage non-clinical leaders and teams across all sites in the region.
- Foster a unified, high-performance culture in partnership with the Regional Medical Director.
- Implement performance systems, conduct staff reviews, and lead career development initiatives.
- Champion Lumin Health’s mission, values, and patient-first culture in every interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 3–5 years managing multiple locations with full P&L accountability.
- Strong track record in high-growth, consumer-facing sectors; experience in healthcare, premium hospitality, or high-end retail strongly preferred.
- Proven experience launching new locations, building operational systems, and leading teams through scale.
- Reliably commutable to all Massachusetts Lumin locations (currently Newton, Cambridge, Woburn, with additional locations to come)

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Range: $130,000–$170,000 base + performance-based bonus structure
