Job Title: Obstetric Gynaecology and General Sonographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £55 – £56 per hour
Duration: Ongoing
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer with expertise in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and General Sonography to join our client in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Gynaecology and General ultrasound experience is essential, while Obstetrics experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations in Gynaecology and General imaging. Provide high-quality diagnostic reports in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the scanning process. Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration as a Sonographer or relevant professional body.
- Proven experience in Gynae and General ultrasound (essential).
- Experience in Obstetric scanning (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
