Positions Available: Full-time, Part-time and casual positions for Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
Merivale Medical Imaging is one of Ontario’s leading independent health facilities providing ultrasound, nuclear medicine, x-ray, mammography and bone densitometry services. This facility provides a variety of ultrasound specialties including abdominal, obstetrics and gynecology, small parts, MSK, vascular and echocardiography. The ultrasound department utilizes the latest ultrasound equipment by Philips and Samsung and is fully digitized with PACS.
Job Summary:
The successful candidates must have the ability to perform a variety of general ultrasound procedures and produce an accurate preliminary diagnosis for the radiologist. Candidates must be registered sonographers and have current registration with ARDMS or Sonography Canada and must hold current membership with CMRITO. Liability insurance is required by all sonographers. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism and be friendly and empathetic in nature.
Qualification:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Current registration with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada & CMRITO
- Proof of personal liability insurance
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and work as part of a team
- Demonstrate interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with vascular and/or MSK and/or echocardiogram examinations is an asset
- Basic computer skills (PACS & RIS)
