Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in West Springfield, MA. This role requires proficiency in phlebotomy and experience in women's health or OBGYN is advantageous. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekend work required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient flow activities and assist with clinical exams and procedures related to Reproductive Endocrinology.
- Perform phlebotomy and other procedures such as vital signs in accordance with established protocols.
- Refer patients to appropriate physician or nurse staff when special needs are identified.
- Document activities and data accurately in medical records.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy with at least 30 successful sticks.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in OBGYN or Women's Health is a plus.
- LPN experience is acceptable; certification or license not required.
Work Environment
The position is based in a fertility clinic in Connecticut, renowned for being a top fertility clinic in the country. The role is primarily during weekdays with a 40-hour workweek. While PTO/Sick time is currently not offered, efforts are being made to negotiate favorable terms for consultants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
