Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a
Fertility Nurse to join our Wollongong clinic on a part time basis (12month maternity leave contract)
Genea Registered Nurses provide frontline care to our patients, supporting them along every step of their Fertility treatment. This role is unique, you will be working in an office environment interacting with our patients both over the phone and face to face. Alongside clinical duties, a significant proportion of your role will involve providing patient care, support and education.
On a daily basis your role will involve (but not limited to):
- Patient face to face and phone interviews.
- Collaborating with doctors and scientists coordinating care, working together to tailor unique treatment plans for each patient.
- Providing instructions to patients for the self administration of IVF drugs.
- Providing results to patients over the phone and support at any point required.
- Maintaining patient records, accurate clinical data entry and general administration duties associated with the role.
- Assisting with embryo transfer, PRP and IUI procedures.
Qualifications
This is a great opportunity for a
Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife to join our Wollongong team. You will bring to the role strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing exceptional and compassionate patient care and the ability to work as part of a small, supportive and cohesive team. We deeply value integrity and accountability as core values. An IT savvy individual would definitely be an asset to this role as it involves a lot of technology. You must be able to commit on a part time basis.
