Core Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care during pregnancy, from preconception counseling to postnatal care
- Perform a variety of obstetric procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries
- Manage gynecological conditions through both surgical and non-surgical interventions
- Conduct regular health screenings and preventive health care for female patients
- Educate patients on their reproductive health options, family planning, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of new advancements in the field
- Document patient interactions meticulously, adhering to medical records regulations
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current and active medical license in the relevant jurisdiction
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Consultant role in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proficient in managing both regular and high-risk pregnancies, with a strong surgical background
- Exceptional communication skills for effective patient interaction and education
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient-centered care and quality assurance
- Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Arabic, are highly regarded
