Job Summary:
The Business Services Program Director (Administrator) for the Reproductive Sciences Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is responsible for the ongoing leadership, strategic management, and high-level oversight of three clinical divisions with approximately 35 faculty members. This includes partnering with the DFA and Division Chief to execute the following: management and strategic planning, ensure fiscal sustainability and growth through budget management, organizing, and managing administrative activities ensuring compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures that govern the Division efforts. The Division Administrator manages the Division’s fiscal affairs, provides Human Resources expertise and guidance to division staff, and oversees day-to-day operations in support of the mission and goals of the Division, Department, and School of Medicine (SOM).
The Division Administrator serves as the representative for the SOM, the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (UCD), and the University of Colorado (CU) regarding relevant fiscal and administrative matters. The Division Manager ensures consistency between the policies and procedures of the SOM, UCD, CU Medicine, University of Colorado Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and Highlands Ranch Hospital.

Work Location:

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
6 years progressive administrative experience within a healthcare or university setting.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in health administration, business, public health, or related field
7+ years of experience in clinical management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students; experienced in the supervision of administrative and support staff personnel.
Effective communication/presentation skills and a proven track record of forming collaborative and effective working relationships with physicians and administrative staff.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as ($83,631-$106,379)
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
