The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) seeks a full-time-BC/BE Academic Specialist in General OB/GYN. The successful applicant will be an Academic Specialist in full scope General Obstetrics and Gynecology who shows strong commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research. The Division of General OB/GYN has a strong urban community based clinical program within the context of an academic environment. The candidate will be challenged to provide quality care in on- and off-campus locations, further research in general OB/GYN, help train residents, and educate our students. Candidates with additional interest and expertise in areas of Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Family Planning, Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology, Global Health, Menopause Medicine, or Vulvar/ Vaginal Disease are strongly encouraged to apply. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.

Salary Range: $235,000-$420,000
Background Checks

Qualifications
Board-eligible/board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland- Two years of relevant experience preferred
