Position Overview
Working in accordance with the mission and values of the Hawkesbury General Hospital, the clerk provides clerical support related to the organization of appointments and the proper functioning of the obstetrics clinic and the family birthing center. The clerk is responsible to give and confirm appointments for clients and to maintain up-to-date statistics. The employee works safely, in accordance with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and reports any danger to the health or safety of staff, patients and visitors.
PERMANENT PART-TIME - 0.5 FTE, Day shifts

What we are looking for
- High school Diploma
- Capacity to communicate verbally and in writing in both official languages (French and English).
- Ability to interact with patients in delicate situations
- Capacity to manage stress.
- Good interpersonal relationships.
- Functional knowledge of computer tools
- Course in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) would be an asset.
- Must have a good attendance profile
- Must have a positive attitude and in line with HGH values
- Satisfactory review of the employee file by human resources
