Your Opportunity:
This position works within Community Prenatal Programs, Public Health Calgary, predominately with the Perinatal Education Program, but offering support to the other Community Prenatal Programs as needed. The Admin III position regularly interacts with and supports: pregnant and parenting families enrolling into programs, the Perinatal Community Educators and interdisciplinary teams of professionals. Key areas of responsibility include: supporting the program by formatting, printing and laminating teaching activities, client registration into our Birth and Babies classes and entering of class series into an on-line course booking system, answering client calls and email enquiries and maintaining and stocking resources at teaching sites around the city. The ideal candidate requires exceptional customer service, communication, technology, organizational and problem-solving skills and is detail orientated with a high level of confidence formatting Word documents and using Excel. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the upkeep and organization of program equipment and supplies, so physical requirements include the ability to carry, move and lift up to 20lbs. Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of administrative and customer service/client-centred experience, including experience dealing with client telephone calls and emails is required. The ability to demonstrate highly proficient Microsoft Office skills. Demonstrated organizational and strategic problem-solving skills. Ability to move and lift up to 20lbs and move and organize equipment across various sites around the city.
