Integrated Midwife
Fixed Term contract 30hr (1 Year)
Suitable for newly qualified midwives at Band 5 £33,247 - £41,424 to allow progression to
Band 6 £41,608 - £50,702 pro rata in line with Annex 21
Distant Islands Allowance £1,406 pro rata
We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic and motivated midwives, preferably with post registration experience, to join our midwifery team. There will be an opportunity to provide care in all areas relating to midwifery practice. Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well with a multi-disciplinary team. There is an on-call commitment to this post.
Continuous professional development is actively encouraged and supported through in-house programmes and Institutes of Higher Education. Applicant must be a car owner and in possession of a full UK driving licence.
Applications will also be considered from newly qualified midwives at Band 5 to allow progression to Band 6 within 12-24 months in line with Annex 21 of the terms and conditions of employment.
