Workplace Health and Safety Trainee
Gladstone Regional Council is proud to help facilitate the upskilling of our region in a diverse range of roles and across a variety of Council locations. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organisation that is committed to delivering outstanding service to our community.
Council has an opportunity to appoint a maximum-term full time Workplace Health and Safety Trainee to contribute to Council’s success. This traineeship opportunity is for a 2-year period to undertake a Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety, this position is based at Gladstone. The employment contract will commence on Monday 12 January 2026.
About the role
In this traineeship you will learn specialised skills and knowledge in areas including assisting with responding to incidents, contribution to implementing and maintaining WHS consultation, and participation processes and assisting with compliance with WHS laws.
