We are looking for a Full-Time OR Surgical Technologist to support our state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Chicago’s River North. This is a full time position requiring two weekend shifts per month. The pay range for this position is between $29-$32/hr.
As a Surgical Technologist at our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will work alongside a skilled team of surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures. You will be responsible for preparing the OR, maintaining sterile technique, and providing hands-on intraoperative support in fertility-related procedures. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative and patient-centered surgical setting.
Prepare operating rooms for procedures, including equipment setup and sterile field maintenance
Assist physicians and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
Handle surgical instrumentation and supplies with precision and care
Ensure all infection control and safety protocols are strictly followed
Monitor and report any concerns with surgical equipment functionality
Support patient care before, during, and after procedures as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ASC compliance standards
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
Previous experience in an OR setting required; ASC experience preferred
Strong understanding of sterile technique, infection control, and surgical instrumentation
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved exemption)
Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and reference check
