Contract Administrator
Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital is the only private surgical in-patient hospital on the Auckland’s North Shore. North Harbour Hospital has 8 Operating Rooms, a 14 bed Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, a modern well-equipped day stay facility unit and a 70-bed ward which includes a 4 bed intermediate care facility (ICF).
Surgical specialities include General Surgery, Gynaecology, Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, Urology, Orthopaedic surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Urology, Otolaryngology and Robotic Surgery.
In addition to the hospital, the broader North Shore campus is also home to a purpose-built endoscopy suite, on-site cardiology services, cancer care, pharmacy, sports medicine, radiology and more.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
This is a 12 month fixed-term position, working 0.5 FTE per week, to cover the administration and processing of invoices for the Health New Zealand outsourced procedures at the four Wholly-Owned Southern Cross Healthcare Hospitals in Auckland.
You will be the point of contact with the centralised HNZ accounts department, and assist in the setting up of HNZ Surgeons within Southern Cross Healthcare Systems – in order to enable payment to these suppliers.
You will also be required to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
- Some experience in the Healthcare sector would be beneficial
- Experience with Te Whatu Ora would also be desirable
