About the role:
One of our aims of is to determine whether treatment of specific diseases is affected by the presence of other diseases in multimorbid condition clusters and to conduct efficient clinical trials to test potential preventive and therapeutic interventions for men and women with multiple, long-term conditions.
You will
- Design clinical trials within the field of multimorbidity.
- Conduct individual research, analysing detailed large-scale clinical trial data.
- Communicate research findings in the form of scientific publications, policy reports, conferences, or public meetings
What you would be doing:
To both independently lead and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary research team to high quality research in the prevention, detection, treatment, and management of multiple long-term conditions.
You will carry out own, plan and lead high quality programme of research in Multimorbidity undertake project management and/or supervise multi-disciplinary teams.
What we are looking for:
Candidates with a:
- A clinical specialty related to multiple-long term conditions (including, cardiology, general practice/internal medicine, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology).
Or
- Without a medical background who have adequate training in clinical epidemiology, or biostatistics related to clinical trials

Further Information
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).
This role is for a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
