Exciting Opportunity for a Locum OB/GYN in Clinton Township, MI!
Join a dynamic healthcare facility in Clinton Township, Michigan, seeking a skilled Locum OB/GYN to provide essential coverage from August 2025 through March 2026. This hospital-based practice offers hands-on experience in a supportive and well-equipped environment, focusing on both labor and delivery and emergency room services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage labor and delivery care for an average of 3-4 laboring patients daily.
- Perform routine obstetric procedures including C-sections, VBACs, and minor gynecological surgeries.
- Conduct comprehensive obstetrical evaluations including Low and High-Risk pregnancies.
- Engage in in-house call from Monday to Friday with access to a designated call room.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care management.
- Oversee nursery care, maintaining an average nursery level II standard.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN (required)
- Experience in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies.
- Proven ability in performing various obstetric and gynecological procedures.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts of 12 or 24 hours, averaging 7 to 10 shifts per month.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Michigan State License (highly preferred)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Ability to obtain an MI State License if needed.
