The Opportunity:
-
Provide outreach services, pre and postnatal support, informing communities about the Maternal Child Health Program
-
Provides services to clients supported by evidence, research and multidiscipline expertise on the wide range of health, social, and program specific issues related to health care services within First Nation communities and CSFS clinics.

Promote healthy relationships including traditional child rearing practices, traditional fatherhood practices and self-care

Conduct home visits, provide information related to parenting skills, problem solving, childhood growth and development, and provide referrals as required

Maintain a documented system of records for files which is inclusive of daily charting, monthly reports, quarterly reports, statistical records and reports, incident reports and the maintenance of personal files and forms required by the program

What You Will Bring to The Role:

Two-year diploma in a social science or health science degree program required, or
-
DONA International certified Doula, and
-
Experience and/or training in Early Childhood Education

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $27.5960 to $35.7375. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
