Job Description:
This posting is for travel positions across British Columbia. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Obstetrics Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers throughout the childbirth process—including labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. The ideal candidate is a calm, skilled, and supportive clinician who thrives in a fast-paced, emotionally rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, vital signs, and labor progression.
- Administer medications, assist with epidurals, and provide emotional and physical support.
- Assist obstetricians and midwives during deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Educate patients and families on prenatal and postnatal care.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly.
Experience
- A valid nursing license with experience in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes and home care.
- Experience working with children in a pediatric setting is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- BLS and NRP certification required, PALS and FHS preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in labor & delivery, obstetrics, or women’s health nursing.
- Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.

Pay: $60.00 per hour
