What you'll be doing
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are offering a provisional fellow position in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology suitable for elective/OTS training.
There will be opportunity for development of leadership skills, extensive exposure to general gynaecology and obstetrics and opportunity for advanced obstetric ultrasound scan skills.
Extensive exposure to all aspects of Gynaecology surgery including advanced operative laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery as well as vaginal and urogynaecology surgery.
Opportunities for exposure to ultrasound, teaching and supervising junior staff, research as well as presenting at national meetings.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Successful completion of the examination process for RANZCOG.
- Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and judgment with experience in basic laparoscopy.
- Preparedness and ability to work independently or in a supervised environment.
- Demonstrate teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in the clinical setting.
- Experience and willingness to teach junior medical staff/medical students and midwives, and a commitment to quality improvement, research, patient safety and risk management.
- Prepared to participate in after hours and on-call work as required.
