Reproductive Care Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist (CNA acceptable) for our Sandy medical office working working Monday - Friday with rotating weekend coverage (comp day during the week if working the weekend).

Job Description:
An Infertility Medical Assistant (MA) is an integral part of a team of board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologists, Nurse Practitioners, Andrologists, Embryologists, and Nurses involved in providing personalized and compassionate care to couples attempting to achieve pregnancy.
This position includes, but not limited to, the following:
- Managing and preparing physician charts for each patient
- Monitoring daily patient traffic flow
- Assisting and circulating in OR procedures including egg retrievals, embryo transfers, hysteroscopies, and other minor surgical procedures. Previous surgical experience is a plus.
- Blood draws/phlebotomy skills desired
- Managing a high volume of phone calls – triaging calls, answering patient questions, and delegating calls to nurses when necessary
- Setting up for and assisting physicians during ultrasound and exam room procedures
- Patient education
- Stock and inventory supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to work occasional weekend shifts.
- MA certified license required, CNA also acceptable
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Surgical assistance experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer skills
- 2 years’ or more experience preferred
- Women’s Health experience and/or ability to speak Spanish a plus (increased compensation for bi-lingual employees)
- Must be proactive, organized, dependable, and willing to work a task to completion
Position and Shift Details:
SCHEDULE: Must be able to work Monday - Friday with a rotating weekend shift (comp day(s) during the week after working a weekend).
- Full-time needed, 40 hours per week
- Reproductive Care Center is open 7 days a week. Monday - Friday 8 am – 5 pm. Saturdays and Sundays vary based on patient needs. Due to the nature of our care, we are open weekends and holidays.
- Hourly wage dependent upon experience
