Travel Ultrasound Technician – MFM
Location: Rockford, Illinois

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8s, Days)

Join a high-level Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) unit in Rockford with no weekends or holidays. This role is ideal for experienced MFM sonographers looking to work with a collaborative team and maintain a steady daytime schedule.
Position Highlights:

Patient Load: ~7–8 MFM scans per day per tech
No weekends or holidays required
Charting: Epic/HealthLink
Equipment: Voluson
Scrub Color: Not specified – assume standard OB/MFM attire
Floating: Not required

Strong support team in a structured outpatient environment
No call responsibilities
High-quality imaging using Voluson systems
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of MFM ultrasound experience (must be clearly reflected on resume)
OB/Gyn RDMS certification required
First-time travelers accepted
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Responsibilities
Perform sonographic examinations to assess and diagnose various medical conditions, particularly in maternal-fetal medicine.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate imaging results.
Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to medical protocols during procedures.
Provide compassionate patient care and communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and contribute to patient treatment plans.
