The Women & Children’s Directorate is actively keen in supporting their teams in the implementation of new digital M365 apps. We are therefore looking for a candidate who is highly engaged to actively support their team in the adoption of new digital tools to improve productivity and assisting with smarter working. We are seeking an individual to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to a Consultant(s) and their team(s). This role is extremely specialised and diverse in providing medical secretarial support for the provision of inpatient and outpatient clinical care to patients. The post holder is required to use a great deal of initiative whilst exercising a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy and tact. You will be responsible for prioritising and managing your own workload to ensure compliance with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Scottish Government targets.
Knowledge, Training & Experience Requirements:
- HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Proficient use of software systems including Microsoft Packages
- Advanced keyboard skills
- Medical Terminology
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload under pressure and with conflicting interests
