Position Summary
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks full-time and part-time General OB/GYN physicians to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Actively participate in the teaching of residents and medical students in the context of clinical obstetrics and gynecology, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Engage in scholarly activities.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students.
- Experience or interest in research and academic leadership preferred.
