What You Will Do:The Clinical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating operations for the Care Center’s back-office team, to ensure high-quality, effective, efficient, and compassionate patient care. This position is responsible for staff training and development, performance management, quality assurance, patient safety and advocacy, and workflow coordination. The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Practice Administrator.

Coordinate and supervise the front-office staff/workflow and back-office technicians/workflow.

Oversee the Care Centers, operational flow; identify, communicate, and implement processes and training to improve patient care.

Organize and assign the required duties and responsibilities to the team.

Create staff schedules to ensure all physicians have the appropriate coverage; coordinate staffing changes/requirements and provide updates as needed.

Monitor staff performance to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all tasks.

Review/approve staff timecards and PTO requests, monitor attendance and over-time, and counsel staff as needed.

Ensure high-quality patient care, patient/staff interactions, and patient satisfaction; document and discrepancies per the Director’s directive(s).

Ensure all protocol and/or procedures remain up-to-date and communicated to the team; provide training as needed.

Provide verbal and written staff performance evaluations annually or as needed.

Maintain adequate clinical supplies and identify needs for new products, ensure purchases remain cost effective/within budget, and submit receipts for timely payment.

Ensure equipment is in working order, schedule maintenance annually, and contact vendors for any repairs.

Provide all new staff with an orientation to back-office operations, procedures, and equipment.

Assist providers as needed to maintain patient flow and provide coverage during any staffing shortage.

Conduct monthly staff meeting to provide training and updates to the team.

What You Bring:

High School Diploma required, Associates Degree or higher preferred.

Medical Assistant (MA) Certification is a minimum requirement.

Current BCLS certification.

2+ years of related supervisory experience preferred.

2+ years of previous experience in women’s health, fertility, or OB/GYN preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others. The employee is frequently required to sit; will occasionally stand and/or walk; use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch, type; and reach with hands and arms. Employees are required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; operation of standard office machines and equipment.
