Job Summary: Advanced Women’s Healthcare is seeking a full-time in-office Telephone Triage Nurse. The ideal Telephone Triage Nurse will be a self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ethics. In this role, you will assess patient needs and provide support through phone calls and/or phone and web messages. You will also collaborate with providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

Duties:

Monitors, prioritizes, and responds to triage needs on the phone and or web messaging.
Responds to patient inquiries, prioritizing responses and routing urgent situations to a provider.
Maintains accurate and detailed documentation and follows patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and company policies and procedures.
Arranges appointments for patients who need to see a provider.
Consults with providers as needed.
Provides patient education.
Prioritizes work tasks and completes tasks in a timely manner.
Maintains accurate, clear and concise encounter notes, problem lists, allergies and medication lists.
Communicates respectfully with providers, staff, and patients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
