Reporting to the Global Vice President, Human Resources, with a dotted line to the Executive Vice President (EVP) Science & Innovation, the Director, Human Resources will provide senior Human Resources leadership to the Life Sciences Operations and Innovation, the Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Research & Development (R&D) organizations and their leadership teams at CooperSurgical. Functions as a member of Global Science & Innovation leadership team and partners with the business leaders to continue to build an effective leadership team and overall organization to support the current and future needs of the business. Serve as a member of the CooperSurgical HR Leadership team and contribute to the HR Strategy in support of Talent Management & Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Culture and Employee Engagement. Be a true senior level partner to provide efficient HR support to an inclusive, diverse, and multicultural global workforce. Support the Global VP, HR and the HR Leadership Team in the development and establishment of both HR practices and frameworks, and work with senior HR colleagues who represent important core HR functions (HRBPs, TABPs, HR Strategy & Operations, CSI HR Shared Support Services and Global Center of Expertise members). Directly manage the HR Business Partner team supporting the life sciences, QA & RA organizations. This position also serves as a contributing member to the OneCooper Human Resources Leadership Team. This position can be based in Trumbull, CT or Livingston, NJ.
Director, Human Resources Science & Innovation, CSI will be responsible for building and executing a Human Resources Strategy in support of their client group. This role manages a team in support of 600+ colleagues across the globe.

Work Environment:
Office based environment with a reasonable level of travel both nationally and internationally.
10%-15% Travel expected – some international travel involved.
This position requires the selected candidate to be onsite 5 days per week
Experience:
- 10 years of HR Experience including multiple years management experience in a medical devices, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical organization. Experience supporting QA/RA/R&D helpful.
- Strong business acumen to understand business dynamics and organizational design and impact.
- Experience of building a comprehensive HR strategy in a multi-location operation to successfully meet global business needs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.

- Develop a team of HR professionals to deliver creative solutions that add value.
- Mitigate organizational risk by ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws, inclusive of managing complex employee relations issues.
- Develop meaningful people analytics to guide and shape our decisions.
