We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced Gynecologist to diagnose and treat patients’ gynecological conditions. The Gynecologist’s responsibilities include performing breast examinations, prescribing suitable medications, and identifying malignant tumors within the female reproductive system. You should also be able to advise patients on how to cope with the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause.
Job Responsibilities Duties And Responsibilities
- Performing annual and regular examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions.
- Offer expert clinical opinions relating to Obstetrics & Gynecology and take independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients
- Carry out comprehensive and systematic assessments of patients and manage them based on clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice.
- Work alongside and maintain good communication channels with other specialist services to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Recording and updating patients’ medical histories.
- Advising patients on suitable birth control options.
- Provide medical treatment to women, focusing on issues related to the reproductive system.
- Monitor patients over the course of pregnancies.
- Provide postnatal care to new mothers
- Treat infections of the cervix, ovaries, and another reproductive organ
- Performing various diagnostic tests on patients, which include Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies.
- Explaining test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients.
- Performing surgeries and gynecological procedures on patients, such as cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettages, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations.
- Referring patients to other healthcare specialists as needed.
- Educating patients on reproductive health issues and disease prevention.
- Liaises with patients, families, medical staff, nursing staff, other clinical staff, and referring doctors.
- Participate in review and planning activities
- Fulfills professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competency in all aspects of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Gynecologist Requirements
Qualification: MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution and completion of specialty qualification recognized by Dubai Health Authority or Health Authority of Abu Dhabi or Ministry of Health UAE.
License: DHA license or Eligibility Letter
Gender: Female
Nationality: Any
Experience: Minimum 3 years
