Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced Embryologist to join our state-of-the-art fertility clinic in Heidelberg, Australia. As a key member of our reproductive medicine team, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and couples achieve their dreams of parenthood through advanced assisted reproductive technologies.
- Perform various assisted reproductive techniques, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and Embryo Biopsy
- Conduct embryo culture, assessment, and selection for transfer or cryopreservation
- Execute cryopreservation procedures for gametes and embryos
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes and incubators
- Implement and adhere to strict quality control measures and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and other team members to optimize patient care
- Stay current with the latest advancements in reproductive technologies and contribute to ongoing research initiatives
- Participate in patient education and counseling sessions as needed
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Reproductive Biology, Embryology, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a clinical embryology laboratory
- Certification from the Scientists in Reproductive Technology (SIRT) or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of reproductive biology and assisted reproductive technologies
- Proficiency in IVF techniques, ICSI, embryo culture, and cryopreservation
- Strong microscopy skills and experience with various laboratory equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a highly regulated environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
