Position - LPN Obstetrics and Gynecology
Location - Los Angeles, CA 90048
Shift - 5x8 Days
Contract length - 13 weeks with possible extension
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care to expectant mothers.
- Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
- Manage emergency situations effectively, utilizing skills in emergency medicine.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in community outreach programs focused on women's health education.
- Engage in teaching opportunities within a teaching hospital environment for medical students and residents.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- **Experience with the following OBGYN procedures required: PAP, Coplo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions, and removals, Nexplanon, and NST***
Required:
* CA License
* BLS
* IV/Blood Draw Certified
* 1 Year of OBGYN experience
* 2 Years of overall LVN experience
